Over a thousand tons of coral rock carved single-handedly by Ed for his love. It was secretly done at night.

No one can explain how this 100 lb man took 28 years to carve and move all this coral rock, his story is quite amazing.

The Wall

It is one of the most interesting stories I've read about. It's all carved up for you behind those coral walls. I was taken back at the details and all the hard work that went into building all these pieces. Visitors come from all over the globe to see Ed's work and read or hear his story. I was lucky enough to grow up near here. Coral Castle formally known as Rock Gate Park is open daily. Located south of Miami in Leisure City, Florida on US 1 it is truly amazing. It's a must stop on your way to the Florida Keys, Just leave about 2 hours in your day to see Ed's work. Coral Castle was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
