Old Town Brunswick Historic District
is a historic district in Brunswick, Georgia.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 26, 1979
Located on a harbor of the Atlantic Ocean,
Brunswick is rich in live oak trees like the Southern live oak.
I traveled here as a kid many times and never really thought much about
the downtown area.
Brunswick was a town I gathered with family members each year or two.
Most of us take things for granted while growing up,
we see the importance of them later in life.
Some of us sooner than later.
The downtown district is so full of history and charm.
Loved the Brunswick Stew which the city lays claim to.
The first pot was said to be made on St Simon Isle July 2, 1898.
